The WEC Business Assistance Committee brings together regional partners, including city economic-development departments, utilities, and the Small Business Development Centers to coordinate, promote, and expand the resources available to companies for business development.  The mission of the BAC is to strengthen the regional economy by improving opportunities for businesses in the Westside region to succeed while keeping and growing jobs here.

Through the Committee, WEC coordinates with regional partners to: 

• Support city, utility, and other programs to assist businesses
• Identify gaps in service
• Expand resources
• Market and promote services
• Reach out to growing industry sectors
